Jane Athron
I am a Plymouth based visual artist, working mainly in water mixable oils, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas, as well as drawing, printmaking and collage. The many years spent in Mexico influences my work, along with literature, film, current affairs and childhood memories of growing up in Devon.
I received BA and MA Art, Design and Media from Portsmouth University, and moved to Plymouth in 2019. I am a member of Contemporary Artists Membership Plymouth (CAMP), Devon Artists Network (DAN), Rhizome Artists Collective and Drawn to the Valley.
